Šentlambert

Vikend smo s pevskim zborom preživeli v Šentlambertu, ki leži blizu Zagorja. Vasica leži v čudovitem hribovju, ki je lepo jesensko obarvan. Če temu dodaš še dobro družbo, veliko petja in smeha, potem imaš zmagovalno kombinacijo :). Narava je tam res prekrasna, kraj pa je oddaljen od glasne doline in za en vikend se je čas skorajda ustavil. Danes je pa tako ali tako eno uro daljši dan in se mi že cel čas zdi, da je ura več, kot kaže urni kazalec.

I spent the weekend with our youth choir in Šentlambert that lies near Zagorje. Little village lies in beautiful hills, that are full with autumn's colors. If you add to this good company, a lot of singing and laughter, then you get the winning combination for having a good time :). Nature is wonderful,  the location is far away from noise in valley, and for one weekend time almost stopped. Today the day is longer anyway, and I feel like the time isn't moving according to the clock.

Raziskovanje Ljubljane// Exploring Ljubljana

 Včeraj sem se po šoli odpravila proti avtobusu, ko se mi je nenadoma pogled ustavil na poti do Plečnikovih Žal, ki jo spremlja (vsaj sedaj) barvita potka, obdana z javorji. Odločila sem se, da obiščem to velikansko pokopališče, že zaradi tega, ker se mi je zdelo prav, da si jih ogledam že zaradi tega, ker so delo našega velikega arhitekta. Res so nekaj posebnega. Obiskala sem spomenik naših modernistov, se sprehodila mimo italijanskega pokopališča vojnih žrtev in iskala slavni Plečnikov vhod v Žale. Najprej sem prehodila vse Žale, da sem ugotovila, da je vhod čisto na drugi strani. Ko sem jih končno odkrila, sem bila presrečna in sem jih takoj fotografirala. 
 Kakšna topla jesen! Res je čudno, da te zjutraj niti malo ne strese zaradi nizkih temperatur, ki so sedaj vse prej kot nizke. Oblačno vreme in toplo ozračje so kot nalašč za kakšen večerni sprehod ali pozno popoldanski, ko je svetloba res neverjetna. Samo poglejte to oranžno barvo za Plečnikovimi zapornicami. :) Krasno! No, pa je ta objava, 90-ta po vrsti, v znamenju Plečnika.

Yesterday, after school, I wanted to take a bus, but then I saw a path that leads to Žale, cemetery made by our great architect Jože Plečnik, which was surrounded by colorful maples. I decided that I  should visit that place, if nothing else, at least because that's a work of a magnificant architect. They are truely something special. I visited the monument of Slovenian writers of modern age, the Italian soldier's graves, and searched for famous entrance to Žale made by Plečnik. Firstly, I walked through the whole cemetery looking for them, and then realized that they are on the other side. When I finnaly found them, I was really happy, and immediately took some photos of them (5th and 6th photo).

What a warm autumn! It's really weird that you don't get shivers in the mornin, when you go out. Cloudy weather and warm athmosphere are great for evening and late afternoon walks, when the light is just amazing. Just look at that orange color behing the Plečnik's gates! :) (last photo) Wonderful! And so, this post, the 90th in the row, is all about Jože Plečnik.

Jesensko sonce // Sun of Autumn

Danes bi bil greh, če se ne bi odpravila na sprehod in zaužila še zadnje sončne žarke tega vikenda. Pot skozi gozdičke in travnike je bila jesensko pisana, barve pa so zaživele predvsem takrat, ko jih je obsijalo sonce. 

Today it would be a sin, if I haven't gone out for a walk and embrace those last sunshines of this weekend. The path through the little forests and meadows was autumnish colorful, and the colors became alive especially when the sun shone on them.

Prijetna utrujenost // Pleasent tiredness

Dnevi v Ljubljani nikakor niso dolgočasni. Napolnjeni so z vsemi mogočimi stvarmi, od študija in dobrih ljudi pa vse do prijetnih sprehodov po centru, ki so napolnjeni s svetlečimi oranžnimi listi in vonjem po pečenem kostanju. Ob koncu dneva se tako hvaležno uležem na posteljo v domu in pustim, da se moje prijetno utrujeno telo spočije od vseh doživljajev, ki se zgodijo  v enem dnevu.
 Zgornje fotografije sem posnela v jutranjih urah, ko so oblaki čudovito dopolnjevali sinje modro nebo. Oblaki so taki sanjavi pojavi, ane? Zato sem bila zelo vesela, ko sem najdla tole luštno pesem :).

Days in Ljubljana are far from being boring. They are filled with all sort of things, from colegge and good people to pleasent walks around the center, which are filled with shinny orange leafes and smell of chestnuts. So, at the end of the day I gratefully lay on my bed to relax my pleasently tired body from all the things that happen in one day.
 Photos above were taken in the morning hours, when the clouds beautifully complement the blue sky. Clouds are quite a dreamy phenomen, aren't they? Therefore I was really happy, when I found this cute song :).

Jesensko // Autumnish

 Gospod Weasley me vsak dan pozdravi na poti do faksa :). // Mister Weasley says hi to me everyday on my way to colegge. :)

 Na poti najdeš marsikaj zanimivega. Tudi takšne prikupno srhljive stvari sredi gozda. // You can find many interesting things when you go for a walk. Even those cute and creepy things in the middle of the forest.

Jesen je že pošteno prebarvala drevesa in narava se počasi pripravlja na zimsko spanje. Na sprehod sem se odpravila v soboto, ko je končno posijalo sonce, tako da sem si privoščila dolg sprehod, da bi pridobila eno veliko dozo svežega domačega zraka, ki ga zdaj, ko sem čez teden v Ljubljani, ne dobivam :). Ampak tudi center prestolnice ima poseben čar, še posebej če se tja odpraviš zvečer, z Norah Jones v ušesih in allstarkami na nogah. Vseeno pa je lepo priti domov, kjer te pozdravi pisana Jelovica, zamegljeni Triglav in mogočni  Stol.

Autumn has painted the trees quite good in last weeks, and the nature is slowly preparing for winter sleep. I went for a walk on Saturday, when the sun finnaly showed up. It was a long walk, because I had to get a dose of fresh, home air, which I don't get during the week since I'm living in Ljubljana. But the center of the capital has a special spirit. Especially in the evening, when I go there, with Norah Jones in my ears and allstar shoes on my feet. But still, it's nice to come home. :)

Za začetek: Dober začetek // For starters: A good start

 

 Prvi teden študija je za mano in prvi vtisi so krasni. Mislim, da me čaka dobro in uspešno obdobje, če ne drugega si to močno želim :). Dnevi v Ljubljani zaenkrat potekajo umirjeno in so še zaznamovani z uvajanjem na študentsko življenje ter spoznavanjem novih prijateljev.

 Počasi pa prehajamo tudi v obdobje, ko sonce počasi izgublja svojo moč in mestne ulice polni vonj po pečenem kostanju, nekje v daljavi pa že vsi čutimo prihod zime, ki naj bi bila letos še posebno huda. Zato je pomembno, da poskrbimo, da nam je toplo. Tako ali drgače ;).

First week of college os behind me and first impressions are great. I think that a good and successful period awaits me, if anything I really wish that will happen :). Days in Ljubljana are calm at the moment, marked with adjusting to college life and making new friends.

 We are slowly entering into the time, when the sun is losing its strength and the streets are full of smell of chestnuts, and somewhere in the distance the winter is approaching., that will be, as they say, very cruel and cold. That's why it's very important to keep us warm. One way or another ;).
